The Club!
Elm River is a limited membership club that enjoys
year long access to 3500 acres of prime hunting
properties in Clay/Wayne/Marion county Illinois and
Crittenden County KY! We have approx 2500 acres of
prime properties in Illinois and approx 1000 acres in
Ky! These 2 state properties are just 2 hours apart!
Illinois Lodging!
In Illinois we currently have 2 fully furnished cabins
that will make the hunt away from home enjoyable.
Use of these cabins are included in the
membership and greatly help out of state hunters
reduce the cost of an extended stay hunt to Illinois.
The cabins are equipped with sat. t.v, full kitchens,
baths and washer and dryer to keep the hunting
cloths invisible!
Kentucky Lodging!
Our Ky lodging is a little more primitive! We currently
have several campers set up on site at the property.
We have running water and heat. We are looking into
other options to house members. The great hunting
definitely makes it worth the stay!

Illinois Properties
Our Illinois properties offer hunters a variety of
choices. We manage different tracts of land from
500 acres to 20 acres. These properties are a
mixture of hardwood timbers, bottoms, crp fields,
agriculture, fence rows and food plots. Our
properties are all in areas where bordering property
owner practice good management.
Illinois Hunting
Illinois is a 2 buck state. Deer season opens Oct 1st
of every year for bow hunting. It has 2 firearm season
in which you have the opportunity to use shotgun,
pistol or a muzzleloader to harvest antlered deer. It
then has a muzzleloader only season in which you
can harvest antlered deer. There are 2 late season
antlerless only firearm seasons and then season
end Jan 16th.
Illinois permits
Illinois deer permits are easily
obtained. Elm River has not had a
non resident get rejected since it
was founded in 2001!
Kentucky Properties
Our Ky properties are some of the
best in the state! We have 3 tracts
of land in Crittenden County that
total 1000 acres. It is a nice mixture
of hardwood timbers, river
bottoms, food plots and agriculture.
Kentucky Permits
The Ky Dept. of Natural resources
have made it easy for
non-residents to hunt. Deer
permits and hunting license are
available on-line or over the
counter.
Kentucky Hunting
Kentucky is a one buck state.
Season opens the first
Saturday in September giving
hunters and opportunity to
harvest a buck in velvet. It has
a 2 week firearm season in
Nov. It then has a December
muzzleloader season.
