1.        All rules and regulations of the IL conservation and criminal law will be followed.
2.        Cabin key and alarm code will be held only by members
3.        Cabin reservations for parties and family gatherings will be made 1 month in  
advance and not during hunting season.
4.        No smoking in the cabin. No smoking or chewing tobacco in the woods!
5.        All factory manufactured stands will be set prior to Sept. 1st. Climbing stands will
allowed at will. Exception will be made for non-resident hunters.
6.        No unnecessary entering of the woods after Sept. 1st. If you are going into the
woods its to hunt using a direct path to your stand.
7.        Maximum effort will be used to control human scent. Please smoke before you get
in your hunting cloths and please be courteous not to smoke around other members
while they are in theirs.
8.        No unnecessary use of atv’s. They can be used to haul deer out of the woods.
They can haul you near your hunting location as long as you are not disturbing another
hunter or disturbing and educating deer. Atv’s can be used for stand installation and
removal.  
9.        No trash will be left in woods.
10.        Cabins will be cleaned after use. If you make it dirty you clean it!
11.        Please limit personal property left in cabins. If its going to sit around and not be
used don’t bring it. Shed is welcome for storage until its full.
12.        Any property damage will by paid by responsible member.
13.        Safety harness will be worn when hunting from an elevated area.
14.        NO GUEST
15.        Members will be allowed to harvest 2 bucks and 2 doe per year.
16.        Only mature bucks will be harvested. A mature buck will be defined as a 3 year or
older buck displaying good mass on antlers. If and underclass buck is taken it will be a
firm $500.00 penalty. If you do it get your checkbook ready!
17.        Respect other members and their hunting methods! All complaints will be made  
to Ray.
18.        Gun range will not be used when hunters are in the woods behind cabin.
19.        Membership will be made in 2 payments. First payment will be due by March
15th final payment due by Sept 1st. Club payments have to be made on time I expect
membership payment to be made on time!
20.        Elm River Hunt Club is not responsible for any accidents and a waiver of liability
will be signed prior to hunting.
21.        Hunters will clearly state where they will be hunting at by word of mouth or pin
map so they will not be walked in on.

Rules and Regulations
We are located 8 miles from
Flora, IL. We hunt 2400 acres of
prime habitat in Wayne and Clay
County IL.  We have members
from all over the U.S. and they
have year round access to the
ground and cabin. The ground is
broken up by hardwood timber,
bottoms, agriculture, fence
rows, crp and food plots. We
have had an 130 inch rule on
bucks for the last 8 years and
have harvested animals into the
180's B&C.

About Us
Sq.Ft. and  fully
furnished.  We have sat.
T.V along with a DVD
player to get us fired up
before the hunt. If you get
hot while in the woods we
have a washer and dryer
to wash out the scent. We
have 2 microwave ovens
and a grill so food is
never in shortage.
